UH-60M Component Maintenance Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Airframe and Avionics Specialist to join our dynamic team as the UH-60M Workshop Team Lead in Holsworthy, NSW.
The ideal candidate will possess significant supervisory experience in aviation maintenance and be responsible for overseeing the effective supervision and execution of component repair, Support and Test Equipment (S&TE), and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance.
About this role:
- This position involves managing component maintenance and certification processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- You will oversee the repair and maintenance of UH-60M components, working closely with internal teams and third-party organizations to ensure optimal repair methods are selected.
- Foster a customer-focused approach in all service delivery, addressing client needs and expectations effectively.
- Provide support to Line or Base Maintenance as needed.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing component maintenance and certification processes in line with company authorizations.
- Supervising the repair and maintenance of UH-60M components, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Conducting thorough assessments of component conditions to determine the appropriate repair strategies.
- Maintaining accurate technical records and documentation for all components.
- Identifying opportunities for developing additional repairs and overhaul processes based on available technical data.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure optimal repair methods are selected.
- Fostering a customer-centric approach in all service delivery, addressing client needs and expectations effectively.
- Providing support to Line or Base Maintenance as needed.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Valid Military Aircraft Maintenance License (C category MAML).
- Significant supervisory experience in aviation maintenance.
- Excellent customer relations skills with a proven ability to effectively manage expectations.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical information.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as AMO, CASA, EASA, and/or FAA.
- Experience with helicopter maintenance, particularly with UH-60M components, is highly desirable.
