Entry Level Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Laboratory Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience and training in a specialist testing laboratory.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced laboratory staff, assisting with various tasks and duties. With on the job training provided, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties:

  • Weighing of feed samples
  • Grinding of feed samples
  • Preparing and cleaning sample vessels for analysis
  • General cleaning duties

Requirements:

  • Laboratory experience is advantageous, however on the job training will be provided
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and great organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills

What's On Offer:

  • Training shifts will be between 9am-6pm based on roster, these will be a 5.5 hour shift with a 30 minute lunch break
  • Once trained the permanent shift will be 7am-1pm Monday to Friday and every 4th Saturday
