Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled Project Director to lead our onshore wind projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in civil engineering and construction management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of these projects. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and effective cost management.

This position requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, civil engineering, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Manage project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and vendors to meet project objectives
  • Maintain high-quality deliverables, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards
  • Analyze project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the civil engineering or construction industry
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
