Job Role:

  • Support the delivery of Defence web services by assisting with web administration tasks for existing sites.
  • Transform web content to align with the Intranet Renewal Project (IRP) deliverables, modernising Defence web delivery and ensuring high-quality user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot and provide expert technical support to users.
  • Create, edit, and maintain web pages, including updates required for accessibility and compliance with the content governance framework.
  • Assess supplied content for adherence to the content governance framework and publish approved content.
  • Optimise and recommend improvements for existing web pages, enhancing their usability and effectiveness.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate with stakeholders on complex issues.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills and experience creating engaging digital content, using best-practice principles.
  • Work independently with opportunities for autonomy and accountability in achieving desired outcomes.
  • Use initiative and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to task management and workflow coordination.
  • Possess or be willing to learn content management systems, specifically GovCMS/Drupal and SharePoint 2010+.
  • Collaborate effectively within a small team environment.
