Join Our Team

As a technical writer, you will be part of a team responsible for creating and updating product documentation for our spend management solution. We are seeking candidates who excel at analyzing and communicating complex concepts to a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive documentation and user guides that adhere to organizational standards, including in-depth user manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs tailored for Medius products to help users effectively navigate and utilize the software.
  • Create engaging tutorials and onboarding materials that aid users in understanding and maximizing the software's features.
  • Maintain a consistent voice and style across all user documentation, ensuring brand coherence and readability.
  • Update documentation consistently with the latest product releases and updates.
  • Obtain a thorough understanding of Medius products to simplify complex information into clear, polished, and engaging content.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience as an effective technical writer.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
  • Previous experience writing documentation for multiple audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail and fluency in English.
  • Broad understanding of technical concepts related to information technology.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects independently while thriving in collaborative team settings.
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
  • Proficient in utilizing GPT and other artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
  • Interest in user experience and product discovery to enhance user onboarding and engagement.
  • Experience writing markdown or reStructuredText and working with the Docs as Code approach will be an asset.
  • Previous software development experience will be an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Microsoft Office, or similar tool will be an asset.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
