Are you a motivated and detail-oriented legal professional looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our team at a prestigious integrated IP firm in Sydney.

About the Role

As a valued member of our national Chemistry/Life Sciences team, you will provide administrative support to two outstanding patent attorneys, assisting with the protection, commercialisation, and enforcement of intellectual property. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and proof-reading correspondence and documents;
  • Uploading documents and maintaining accurate information on client portals;
  • Liaising with IP Australia for document productions, lodgements, and amendments;
  • General administration, including diary management and arranging travel and meetings.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced legal secretary/administrator or career paralegal with a strong background in intellectual property law, preferably with experience in patents. You will need to be highly competent in Microsoft Office, have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and be a proven team player.
