About this role:

We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team as a Literacy Educator. As a key member of our education department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs and curriculum materials that cater to the needs of our students.

Your primary focus will be on preparing and delivering programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including online delivery. You will also be expected to produce high-quality curriculum or program materials that meet the standards of our institution.

To excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate your ability to work effectively with students, particularly those who require additional support. Your capacity to negotiate sensitively and build strong relationships with students is essential.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be expected to contribute to the development of research initiatives and engage in industry collaborations. This will involve working closely with colleagues to identify areas of research interest and developing strategies to secure funding and partnerships.

As a Literacy Educator, you will have the opportunity to supervise higher degree by research candidates and provide guidance and mentorship throughout their studies.

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in a relevant discipline and have a strong track record of quality research outputs. They will also be able to demonstrate their ability to work collaboratively and collegially within a teaching team.
