Warehouse and Depot Operations Role

A dynamic position is available for a motivated Warehouse Operator to take on the responsibility of maintaining depot operations and equipment.

This role offers a varied workload, ensuring no two days are the same.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the effective operation and safe control of the depot and its equipment, adhering to established SOPs and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all relevant documentation in line with SOP/compliance standards.
  • Implement FIFO procedures for expiry/best before dates, guaranteeing efficient stock management.
  • Clean and maintain all inbound equipment and warehouse areas, upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Accurately receive and pick stock orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Monitor and report accurate stock levels, providing support during stocktake processes.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer enquiries, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Transport stock or other equipment between depots as required, promoting a smooth supply chain.
  • Assist other departments as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience within a warehouse environment, with a proven track record of efficiency and productivity.
  • An intermediate level of computer literacy, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • A valid manual Australian driver's license, enabling the safe transportation of goods.
  • A valid forklift license, essential for operating heavy machinery safely.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen, and background checks, upholding the company's health and safety standards.
