We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Private Business Tax & Advisory team in Perth as a Senior Associate.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to meet their accounting and tax compliance requirements, including preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns.
You will collaborate with a diverse range of clients, from small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to large companies, providing accounting and tax advisory work that supports their business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to meet their accounting and tax compliance requirements
- Collaborate with a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies
- Assist with accounting and tax advisory work that supports clients' business needs
- Build a foundation of trust and competency with clients
- Provide developmental support to team members through coaching and mentoring opportunities as required
Requirements:
- CA qualification
- Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment and be adaptable to work across multiple managers
- Experience in the use of Xero accounting software will be highly regarded
