About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced auto electrician to join our team as a heavy duty electrician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of haul trucks and associated plant equipment in a mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a fleet of haul trucks and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet site maintenance schedules.
• Servicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systems.
• Reading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systems.
• Attending in-field breakdowns and repairing faults safely and efficiently.
• Create detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairs.

About You:

• Trade certified auto electrical tradesperson with relevant post-trade experience.
• Proven experience in the maintenance of haul trucks and associated plant equipment in a mining environment.
• Valid driver's license and current Standard 11 certification.
