Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Services Officer to join our team at Fortescue's Iron Bridge project. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure compliance with site-based and corporate policies.
  • Provide leadership and training services to the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and site departments.
  • Respond to onsite emergencies and maintain a state of operational readiness.
  • Ensure that medical facilities are maintained in an operationally ready status.
  • Perform equipment preparedness inspections and reporting.
  • Participate in site emergency drills and exercises.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue or Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations).
  • Cert IV in Health Care as a minimum (Diploma or Degree would be advantageous).
  • Previous experience in emergency response and incident control/incident management.
  • Microsoft office applications skills including Word, Excel and Power Point.
