Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned data analysis expert to drive strategic business decisions through insightful and actionable recommendations. As a Principal Analyst, you will be responsible for leading complex data analysis projects, mentoring peers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and support strategic and/or complex analysis for the organisation, scoping the analytical work to design or decide the appropriate analytical methods.
  • Conduct exploratory and hypothesis-driven analysis to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and causal relationships in data.
  • Develop scenario modelling and relevant sensitivities, as well as subsequent cost-benefit analysis activities in the development of business cases and advice to support decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Management consulting experience in data analysis is beneficial.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst (7+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role) or in a similar role within a large business.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sound experience with the development of data visualisation and self-service tools such as Tableau or PowerBI for operational end users and managers.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and openness to continue learning with advancing technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical or business discipline (computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field).
