Our Team: Our team of Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, and Exercise Scientists are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care using science and evidence-based methods to achieve the best outcome.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely prescribing and supervising exercise and strength training for our clients with diverse health and medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver exercise programs aimed at prevention and recovery to enhance overall health and long-term wellbeing
- Conduct physiological assessments (body composition, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) and prescribe exercise for group or individual sessions
- Use objective measures, including strength testing and patient-reported outcomes, to guide clinical decisions
- Establish relationships with local Allied Health professionals
- Manage and build a caseload of individual and group sessions
- Consistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser standards
Requirements:
- ESSA recognised Bachelor or Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology Degree
- Current ESSA registration
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Active and current Professional Indemnity Insurance
- First Aid Certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
Desirable: Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience, Previous private practice experience
