As a graduate software engineer, you will contribute to the development of software tools needed by our users to run experiments, acquire data, and display it.
You will work with a wide variety of technology, including Python, scientific Python libraries, Git, and Apache Kafka.
Our team is passionate about creating quality software and solving complex problems in scientific computing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop software tools for data management and analysis
- Work with our team to design and implement software solutions
- Contribute to the development of our software tools and frameworks
- Collaborate with our users to understand their needs and requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study
- Experience of developing in Python
- Knowledge of techniques for software testing
- Experience of using version control (e.g. Git)
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team
