About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing electrical and communication associated work tasks in a safe, effective, and productive manner.

Your primary focus will be on maintenance, small to medium-size projects, state and national rollouts, and customer service. You will work closely with our Client Services Department to ensure rapid and efficient 24-hour service covering additions, alterations, and preventative and breakdown maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical and communication installations and maintenance. You must possess excellent time management and prioritization abilities, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you must be diligent in your adherence to safe work practices and have a reliable and punctual attendance record.

Responsibilities:

>
  • Perform all electrical and communication associated work tasks as required by your employer in a safe, effective, and productive manner.
  • Actively participate in productivity management processes on a daily basis and complete worksheets as required.
  • Ensure total compliance with relevant Australian Standards and ACA Standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date paperwork, including records of hours and materials used.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

>
  • Current unrestricted electrical license recognized by state authorities.
  • ACA license.
  • Current CPR and LV rescue certificate.
  • Construction industry general safety induction.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Experience in electrical commercial construction, installation, and data.
