Industrial Technician Job Description

As an Industrial Technician, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our organization's success by performing a variety of tasks related to mechanical equipment and systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist team members in setting up onsite mechanical pressure systems, including components such as pumps, hoses, generators, and filters.
  • Set up calibrated equipment within mechanical pressure systems.
  • Work under leading hands to perform tasks, responsibilities, duties, and projects as requested.
  • Perform administrative requirements, including accurate completion of work timesheets, JHA's, vehicle check sheets, equipment inventory lists, and other documentation as required.

It is essential to follow EnerMech best practices and internal policies related to safety, fatigue, cleaning equipment, support equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, inventory control, and client relations. You should also participate in external and/or internal training to upskill and cross-train.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in pressure testing, chemical cleaning, flange management, and high-pressure blasting.
  • Ability to react, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong focus on teamwork and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Positive and team-based attitude.

This role requires a current driver's license, HPW Licence, Construction Induction (White or Blue Card), Working at Heights within 2 years, Confined Space Entry within 2 years, RTAY access card, and QAL access card.
