We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our community mental health team. As a Senior Clinician, you will provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health assessment and treatment to individuals requiring urgent, short-term, or ongoing intensive community-based mental health services.
- Rotate as shift leader, providing guidance and support to the team, and serving as the first point of escalation.
- Develop and support the orientation and learning of less experienced clinicians.
- Contribute to the development of the team's skills and knowledge, ensuring the delivery of best-practice mental health services.
- Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT, or Clinical Psychologist with relevant registration.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the mental health field, including acute inpatient services and/or community mental health care.
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience.
- Proven ability in the management of consumers with a major mental illness and in the techniques of assessment, crisis intervention, counselling, and psychosocial rehabilitation.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for consumers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
