About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Penrith. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with lived experience of mental health issues to achieve their goals and maintain wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to individuals accessing our services, focusing on their recovery journey and strengths.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV or above in a relevant field or minimum of 2 years full-time experience working in the human services field.
  • Strong commitment to recovery-based practice and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with lived experience of mental health issues.
  • Demonstrated alignment to Flourish Australia's values and ability to effectively use Microsoft Office and data information management systems.
  • Maintain a current Australian Driver's Licence.
