About the Role
HammondCare At Home is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Specialised Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for older adults, enabling them to live independently and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming
- Support with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Assist with transportation to appointments and shopping
- Help with medication management
Requirements
- Reliable and patient individual with excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in aged or community care is an asset, but not required
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (minimum third-party property insurance)
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is preferred, but not necessary (training provided)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs
