At Travel + Leisure Co., we're passionate about putting the world on vacation. As a Groundsperson, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests while maintaining the beauty and functionality of our resort's landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to owners and guests by ensuring the grounds are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Perform routine cleaning, gardening, and general care of the landscape, nursery, and growth of plants.
  • Conduct room maintenance tasks, including checks and repairs, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain all resort equipment in working order to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations.
  • Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain the resort's aesthetic appeal.
  • Mow and cut grass and lawns to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
  • Look after plants and flowers to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
  • Manage irrigation systems to optimize water usage and reduce waste.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, creating exceptional and memorable experiences for guests.
  • Understanding of using gardening tools and equipment to maintain the resort's grounds.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety principles to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail to deliver high-quality results.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, school, and public holiday periods if required.
