Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of innovative projects that are transforming the healthcare sector. You will collaborate with top industry experts to deliver impactful solutions that improve lives and shape the future of healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams to support the development of digital and technology strategies for healthcare providers and services.
- Define and implement future state operating models for business units and functions to better align with strategic goals, improve efficiency and enhance service delivery.
- Conduct options analysis', detailed business case development and funding submissions for local, state and federal departments and providers.
- Manage and implement technology-enabled transformational change that improves the day-to-day lives of providers and patients.
- Lead business development activities which directly impact our growth and reputation in the healthcare sector.
- Take on responsibilities and provide guiding oversight for the development and preparation of high-impact presentations and reports, including detailed quantitative analysis for clients and stakeholders.
- Work on client site to execute project and change management initiatives. Lead workshops, deliver training sessions, and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and with measurable outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting or a related field.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Project Management certification (e.g. Prince2, MSP, PMBoK, Agile) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in leading and delivering digital transformations at a portfolio, program or project level, with knowledge and experience in traditional or agile Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and end-to-end project delivery.
• Confidence and experience in leading and working within large and multi-disciplinary teams.
• An understanding of digital technologies, applications, and industry best practices within healthcare and human services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with an ability to apply structured thinking and dynamic approaches to problem-solving.
• Experience in providing strategic advice and guidance to senior executives and sponsors.
• Willingness to travel within the country (where practical and possible).
• Flexibility to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interface with team members and client personnel in demanding, deadline-driven situations.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization software (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) is favored but not essential.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and motivation to succeed.
