About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at Technical Resources.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of overhead transmission lines, solar farm, and wind farm civil packages.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Undertaking preliminary design and management of detailed design to ensure reliability and quality requirements are met.
    • Collaborating with the engineering team to contribute to the successful completion of projects.
    • Managing and performing the design and analysis of civil engineering designs, including site development and drainage systems.
    • Specifying and providing technical input to basis of designs and reviewing/drafting technical reports.
    • Establishing and updating technical design standards and procedures.
    • Providing technical support to construction teams with procurement and technical queries.
    • Managing and implementing design changes and optimisation.
    • Providing mentorship to civil engineers and junior engineers.
    • Conducting quality checks and reviews of design documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

Key qualifications include:

  • Detailed design engineering experience with bulk earthworks.
  • Essential - Overhead Lines Design.
  • Engineering Qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and application of Australian Standards (Civil/Structural).
