Job Description

The Defence Contract Management Professional will be responsible for supporting the CLCM Commercial team in performing delegated tasks, including contract administration and commercial planning. This role requires a strong understanding of legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

  • Support contract management and procurement activities within the ASDEFCON Contracting suite.
  • Assist with S&Q activities and other service requests under the CLCM Contract.
  • Undertake business administration tasks such as drafting correspondence, briefs, scheduling, and office management activities.
  • Maintain contract records to ensure compliance with the CLCM contract.

Requirements

  • Australian Government security clearance of Baseline or higher.
  • Previous experience in the Defence sector, particularly in commercial, procurement, and contracting roles.
  • Solid experience in financial management, billing procedures, and contract administration.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant legal, business, or commercial field or at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position.
