Maths Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Maths Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium in Carlingford. As a Maths Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths instruction to students of various ages and skill levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging maths lessons based on proprietary teaching material and implement them effectively.

  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly.

  • Maintain a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration.

Key Requirements:

  • Exceptional maths skills through primary and senior school education.

  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills to manage diverse needs.

  • Able to interact professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Energetic and confident personality to drive student engagement.

Benefits:

  • Part-time hours: 8-16 per week.

  • Afternoon shift Monday to Friday.

  • Rotating roster for flexibility.

  • Weekend availability considered.

Education and Certification:

  • High School (Year 12) or equivalent preferred.

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) recommended but not mandatory.
