Personal Care Assistant Job

This role involves assisting clients with their daily needs and providing personalized care to ensure their comfort and dignity are maintained.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients with essential personal hygiene activities
  • Delivering customized care that reflects each client's individual needs, preferences, and routines
  • Assisting with daily activities such as household duties, meal preparation, social outings, and transport to medical appointments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing compassionate and professional care to clients in their own homes
  • Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and activities
  • Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Personal Care Worker or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification)
  • A compassionate and professional attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional care
  • Driver's license and vehicle
  • National police check
  • First aid & CPR
  • Blue Card
