Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join our in-house legal team at BDO. As a commercial lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on commercial and corporate matters, as well as supporting the firm's legal frameworks and special projects.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor of Laws and are admitted to practice in an Australian State or Territory.
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • You have demonstrated commercial and corporate experience, with a strong understanding of employment law, litigation, and regulatory (ASIC) matters.
  • You are able to apply your skills to achieve practical solutions for the business, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
  • You have high-developed communication and well-rounded interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with colleagues and stakeholders.
