Job Title: PowerBI Data Transformation Specialist

Are you a seasoned data expert with a passion for crafting insightful analytics solutions? We're looking for a talented PowerBI developer to join our team and help shape the future of our data platform. As a PowerBI Data Transformation Specialist, you'll play a critical role in our Microsoft Fabric re-platforming project, where you'll design accurate, scalable, and high-performing PowerBI semantic models that empower decision-making across the organisation.

  • You will be responsible for designing and building PowerBI semantic models that support consistent, data-driven decision-making.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a solid understanding of data models supporting reporting tools, with experience in DAX programming and a proven track record of working on data migration or reporting transformation projects. You'll also need to be able to independently manage deliverables, timelines, and communication with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in Information Technology or similar technical capacity, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a PowerBI developer, with a strong focus on semantic model design and build
  • Proven track record of working on data migration or reporting transformation projects
  • Solid understanding of data models supporting reporting tools, with preference to SAP Web Intelligence
  • Proven SQL skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage deliverables, timelines, and communication with stakeholders
