Research Fellow Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team at Monash University.
About the Role
In this role, you will work on a number of projects, both academic and in collaboration with industrial partners, focusing on the central nervous system exposure of therapeutic entities, approaches to manipulate the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and microglial phenotype in order to reverse neurodegenerative diseases, and assessment of pharmacokinetics of novel drugs and drug formulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the field of drug delivery, disposition, and dynamics
- Collaborate with industrial partners on research projects
- Develop and implement new research methods and techniques
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and publications
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will hold a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline and have demonstrated ability to undertake behavioural studies in animal models of neurodegeneration, preferably with Alzheimer's disease and motor neurone disease.
