Home Care Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Job Description:

As a Home Care Support Worker, your duties will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with social support and transportation for social activities, shopping, and medical appointments
  • Providing domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Supporting individuals with complex and challenging needs
  • Monitoring the well-being of individuals and reporting on their progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and establish good working relationships
  • Comfortable using technology, such as mobile apps, for accessing rosters and recording customer notes/feedback
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance
  • Proof of vaccination (COVID-19)
  • Current First Aid Certificate/CPR
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
