Are you looking for a career in engineering?

As an industrial training mechanic, you will be involved in a Training Contract (Certificate 3 in Engineering Mechanical Trade) where you will learn on-the-job to become a skilled tradesperson.

This role involves fabricating, assembling, maintaining and repairing precision equipment/machines. You will also have the opportunity to perform lathe, Milling, Grinding and tool cutter operations, as well as use VTL Borers, Horizontal Borers, CNC Manual Lathes, Milling Machine and other machinery.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Satisfactory pass of a pre-employment medical
  • Holding a current driver's license
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Punctuality and a good work ethic
  • The ability to use initiative and work well in a team

Additionally, you may be required to work overtime and occasionally perform out-of-hours breakdown work. A current White card is also essential.
