Role Overview
The Child and Young Person Program is seeking a skilled psychologist to provide specialist psychological services and therapeutic support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children and young people to recover from family violence trauma through evidence-based practice and contemporary therapeutic models.
- Undertake interventions within family violence, trauma and attachment frameworks.
- Conduct psychological assessments using standardised methods.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and referrals as necessary.
- Contribute to program development and evaluation.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in psychology approved by the relevant regulatory body.
- Registration with the relevant professional board.
- Working with Children Registration.
- Current Driver's Licence.
