Job Description

As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in guiding clients towards job-readiness and facilitating opportunities for employment. You will work closely with clients to identify their goals and aspirations, build skills and job-readiness, and support them through interviews and into employment.

You will also collaborate with prospective employers to ensure their needs for recruiting new team members are met. This may involve:

  • Building relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for clients;
  • Reverse marketing clients to employers;
  • Placing participants into sustainable employment leading to outcomes;
  • Creating and nurturing relationships with community stakeholders to build our clientele;
  • Encouraging and motivating participants through appropriate activities to find their own employment;
  • Ensuring all activity is appropriately recorded, documented and adheres to compliance and/or contractual requirements;

Additionally, you will be working with a vibrant, collaborative and goals-focused team of employment services professionals from diverse backgrounds, who are all seeking to have an impact in the diversity and inclusion space.

Attributes and Experience Required

We are looking for someone who is happy and confident liaising with multiple external and internal stakeholders, has demonstrated ability to market our services and clients to local businesses, and can work to KPIs and make placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment for our clients/employers. Key attributes and experience include:

  • Minimum one year's experience in customer service or a client-facing role;
  • Ideal experience of working with people overcoming challenges;
  • Hold a current Drivers Licence.
