The Role

The Centre Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shopping centre's operations, including leasing, tenant relations, property maintenance, marketing, and financial performance. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong client-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive foot traffic, enhance the tenant mix, and maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Foster strong relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create innovative campaigns and events that attract shoppers and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and maintenance initiatives to ensure the shopping centre remains a top-tier destination.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, financial reports, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in the Shopping Centre industry, ideally as a Shopping Centre Manager or Retail Manager.
  • Strong client-oriented approach, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong passion and ability to work within a team.
  • Capacity to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines independently.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and managing end-of-month financials.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, contributing value to the team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, along with strong written communication and problem-solving abilities.
