About the Role

This mid-senior level position involves driving multi-sector projects through concept design, documentation, and contract administration phases.

You will work within an agreed scope, delivering complete packages of work to deadline while assisting with liaison with clients, stakeholders, and authorities in collaboration with project leads.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Australian Standards and BCA, NCC, and specifications, as well as current registration as an architect with BOAQ.

Proficient in Revit software, you will also demonstrate exceptional communication skills, be meticulous, organised, and thorough, with proven leadership experience and ability to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive multi-sector projects through concept design, documentation, and contract administration phases.
  • Work within an agreed scope and deliver complete packages of work to deadline.
  • Assist with liaison with clients, stakeholders, and authorities in collaboration with project leads.
  • Contribute to the generation and exploration of design and construction ideas, balancing conceptual, aesthetic, constructional, and cost influences.
  • Be attentive to client feedback, issues, or potential problems and report any issues raised.
  • Current registration as an architect with BOAQ.
  • 5-10 years post-registration experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Revit software.
  • A collaborative approach to work, management, and team engagements.
  • Demonstrate design and technical aptitude with developing design and technical confidence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, meticulous, organised, and thorough.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to mentor junior team members.
  • A solid understanding of Australian Standards and BCA, NCC, and specifications.
  • Current working skills in Adobe Suite & MS Office.
