The Australian National University College of Science and Medicine is seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Head of General Practice. As a key member of the School of Medicine and Psychology, you will be responsible for advancing general practice and primary care education, research, and collaboration.

This leadership position involves developing the medical curriculum related to general practice, expanding primary care research, and supporting a practice-based research network across ACT and SE NSW general practices. You will also foster partnerships with the Health Directorate and Canberra Health Services to promote excellence in general practice and primary care policy, research, and education.

The successful candidate will have experience in leading academic departments or units, developing and implementing educational programs, conducting research, and maintaining clinical practice. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
