We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our dynamic team as a secondary teacher.

Full-time positions have become available in a reputable Secondary school, offering a supportive and collaborative environment for teachers to grow and develop their skills.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and demonstrate a genuine care for students, possessing the relevant qualifications and being currently registered or in the process of obtaining registration with the relevant teaching authority. Graduates are welcome to apply.

A proactive approach to child safety and health and safety is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication and commitment to the teaching vocation and the over-arching care and nurturing of students to achieve academically and in their individual strengths and capabilities.

Essential Criteria for Teacher Positions

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Capacity in effective classroom management
  • Passion for teaching, bringing academic expertise and life experiences to the classroom
  • Ability to differentiate instructional approaches and materials for mixed ability classes
  • Will to assist with the development and sharing of teaching materials
  • Maintenance of a positive classroom environment respectful of all present and fostering student learning
  • Participation in professional development activities in and out of school hours
  • Undertaking formal pastoral and administrative duties
  • Participation in extra-curricular and co-curricular programs as required
  • Tertiary degree in Education
  • Eligibility for Registration with the relevant teaching authority
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
