Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Pet Nutrition Commercial Team. This role will be responsible for the procurement of Cereals, Grains and Dry Animal Protein (DAP) materials from the Oceania region. The successful candidate will develop and deploy category strategies and Mars policies and practices to create a competitive advantage for Mars while minimizing risks to supply.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accountable for the performance and results of the category, including strategy definition and execution, procurement, and supplier management.
* Responsible for price forecasting and providing timely intelligence on pricing and availability risks.
* Responsible for Value Leadership and Transformation activity, Sustainability implementation, and future sourcing for the category.
* Build and maintain Supplier Relationships and ensure robust, metric-driven Supplier Performance Management for the category.
* Effective part of the Mars Global Category Network, actively contributing to global direction and activities.

Requirements:

* Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in engineering, Agricultural science, Business management, or Finance.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain function.
* Ideally, experience in a large FMCG environment.
* A good understanding of raw materials conversion processes, commodities, and market fundamentals.
* Experience in leadership, including sourcing strategy development, price risk management, and value leadership.
* Strong communication and project management skills.
