Community Education Leader

The successful applicant will lead and manage the planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of the education of all students in a community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive education program to all students by developing and implementing innovative curriculum strategies that meet the diverse needs of the student body.
  • Act as the executive officer of the school council, providing strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the effective governance of the school.
  • Establish and manage financial systems in accordance with Department requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability in the management of school finances.
  • Represent the Department in the school and local community, fostering positive relationships and promoting the school's values and mission.
  • Implement decisions of the school council, working collaboratively with teachers, staff and parents to achieve shared goals.
  • Contribute to system-wide activities, including policy and strategic planning and development, to drive improvements in education outcomes.
  • Manage and integrate the resources available to the school, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing student outcomes.
