About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Diabetes Educator to provide education services in a multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will have experience or qualifications in diabetes education and a passion for providing comprehensive care in both acute and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement and service development to achieve a multi-disciplinary approach to diabetes management.
  • Work in acute and community settings with clients managing Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes.
  • Develop and maintain strong clinical leadership skills to guide and support multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to clients with diabetes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in diabetes education and management.
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration
  • 5 years post-grad experience
  • Strong clinical leadership skills
  • Dedication to professional development
  • Advanced communication skills
