Job Title: EL1 Data Architect

At Softtest pays pty ltd, we are seeking an experienced EL1 Data Architect to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale data architectures, including conformed models and analytical use cases.
  • Lead the delivery of cloud data lake and data warehouse platforms, including ETL and data governance design and implementation.
  • Provide technical guidance and peer review to engineers and modellers on data modelling and data governance.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain data models, including metadata and version control.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistical, or computer sciences discipline, or more than 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and experience with contemporary analytics coding languages (e.g. Python, R).
  • Experience in reverse engineering end-user SQL code and interpreting data models and specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of metadata/model-driven frameworks.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
