Catering Attendant - Production Line Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Catering Attendant - Production Line Specialist to join our team at dnata catering. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals for our airline customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present meals to the highest standards, ensuring presentation specifications are met.
- Assist chefs in ensuring meals are carefully packed and loaded into meal racks and airline carts for delivery.
- Work on different classes, including Economy, Business Class, and First Class menus for various client airlines.
- Comply with food safety and HACCP guidelines, and adhere to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and focus on keeping accurate counts.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move and lift items.
- Ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
- Neat and tidy presentation.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desired but not essential).
- Basic knife skills (desired but not essential).
- Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
