Transformative Environmental Planning Opportunities

We're seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Planner to join our Planning and Environmental Approvals team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you'll play a lead role in delivering planning, environmental planning, and regulatory approvals for significant projects across various sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage planning and environmental consulting projects, leveraging your expertise to drive results.
  • Collaborate with clients to prepare statutory planning submissions, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Scope and manage studies and surveys, applying your technical skills to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit planning and environmental approvals documentation, meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and coach early career professionals, fostering growth and development within our team.
  • Contribute to a national practice, working on projects across Australia with our 285+ strong Environmental Solutions business.

Requirements

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in planning, environmental science, environmental planning, or a related discipline.
  • Good experience in planning, environmental planning, impact assessment, or approvals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Queensland planning frameworks.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
