Are you a true all-rounder with experience in purchasing or inventory and looking to grow your career in aviation?

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to fill the role of Purchasing Officer at our Melbourne Airport unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good working relations with suppliers.
  • Ensure stock levels meet production demands.
  • Adhere to company policies on HACCP, QSAI, and WHS.
  • Reference passenger forecasts for effective purchasing.
  • Evaluate delivery vehicles and perishable items for compliance.
  • Monitor expiration dates and conduct monthly stock takes.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on procurement procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Purchasing, Stores, and/or Inventory in a Supply Chain environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS-Suite (Advanced Excel and Outlook preferred).
  • Knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety, QSAI requirements, and WHS.
  • Forklift License (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
