Site Attendant and Maintenance Assistant

You will be an integral part of a dynamic enterprise that empowers people with disabilities to work alongside skilled team members.

As a Site Attendant and Maintenance Assistant, you will assist supported employees in carrying out site maintenance and general duties at various commercial locations. Your role is pivotal in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and contributing to operational success.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform general site maintenance duties, including cleaning, vacuuming, bathroom/toilet cleaning, mopping, dusting, laundry, washing walls/windows, and light domestic tasks
    • Assist team leaders in fostering positive team relationships that reflect our values
    • Support employees in developing new skills and achieving employment goals
    • Complete tasks consistently with instructions from team leaders and supervisors, as well as contract specifications and scheduling requirements
    • Report accidents, injuries, and near misses immediately; identify hazards and risks, and take action or refer to team leaders as needed
    • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High level of physical fitness to meet manual handling and environmental demands
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as a team member
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills, with ability to assess when to escalate issues
  • Technical skills to solve maintenance and site issues
  • White card, basic understanding of WHS requirements
  • Current driver's license
  • Working with Children Check or Qld Blue Card
  • NDIS Working Screening Check clearance
  • National Police check
  • COVID-19 vaccination confirmation record (dose 1 & 2)
