Join Our Team as a Civil Leading Hand

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Leading Hand to join our team at Shadforth Civil Contractors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading civil construction company in the Toowoomba region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team and subcontractors to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ensure a high standard of quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications
  • Promote a positive team culture and deliver positive outcomes for stakeholders

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Leading Hand or desire to step up into the role
  • Experience in subdivisions with coverage of Bulk earthworks, pipe infrastructure, civils, and roadworks
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans
  • Ability to deliver projects to agreed outcomes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Construction Industry Card (White / Blue)
  • Current Driver License
  • Various plant machinery tickets will be highly regarded
  • Strong commitment to Quality and Safety standards
