About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our team as In-House Counsel, focusing on commercial law matters. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our leadership teams across various legal, compliance, and business issues.

As In-House Counsel, you will provide expert advice on corporate and commercial matters, ensuring our business operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Your key responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements, managing trademark registrations, and providing support to our Marketing teams.

You will also be responsible for undertaking risk assessments, liaising with external counsel, and monitoring legislative changes. Your ability to work autonomously within a team environment and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential.

  • Drafting, amending, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements;
  • Managing a large portfolio of local and international trademark registrations;
  • Providing support to the Marketing teams, including advising on product claims and consumer law issues;
  • Undertaking risk assessments and providing mitigation feedback as necessary;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' recent corporate and commercial legal experience in-house and/or highly regarded law firm;
  • Experience with legal drafting, negotiation, review, and analysis skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced work environment with competing deadlines and priorities;
  • Pro-active approach in identifying and managing disputes and mitigating risk;
