As a skilled tradesperson, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality maintenance services across multiple early learning centres.

The Opportunity

You will work autonomously to maintain exceptional standards, provide outstanding customer service and foster strong relationships with stakeholders.

Your cluster will be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Victoria, offering a unique opportunity to explore new areas and build a professional network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert repairs and maintenance services for Goodstart Early Learning centres.
  • Work independently to proactively anticipate and resolve issues, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Develop effective communication strategies to build strong partnerships and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, prioritizing safety and reliability.
  • Deliver a range of tasks across multiple disciplines, including carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, plastering, painting, and tiling.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in a similar trade-based position.
  • A recognised trade qualification in Carpentry or a related field.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites.
  • A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and a commitment to ongoing health and safety protocols.
  • A Carpentry Licence; Contractor Grade, Nominee Supervisor Grade or Site Supervisor Grade (preferably).
