About the Role

You will be responsible for providing high-quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's core values. You will play a crucial role in residents' overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Mobility Support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions, including from a bed to a wheelchair.
  • Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
  • Meal Assistance: Support residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
  • Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
Requirements
  • Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
