About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Mercy Health. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality client-focused care to patients, their family and carers, using a holistic approach
  • Assessment and monitoring of patients' physical and mental state
  • Be part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers
What You'll Bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check or NDIS check
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
