Early Childhood Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an Early Childhood Specialist to join our team, supporting the delivery of the NDIS early childhood approach at a local level. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with families to help children reach their full potential through effective planning and support while also fostering meaningful connections within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support families through a child and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive the appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
  • Use your expertise in early childhood or allied health to inform decision-making and ensure timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
  • Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
  • Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS and its early childhood approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families.
